Who defines the strategy is first and foremost the question you want to ask yourself. Is it you or your clients and customers. Then think of the position you want to be in and the outcome you want to achieve. Now you are ready to plan how you intend to get there.
Okay thats one way to develop a strategy, but it's not rocket science. Just remember before you start that there is no point in building a strategy if you are unclear about who needs its. Its better to fulfil a need then force feed a tiger. On some level that makes sense to those that are in the right place. You know who you are.
Okay so you get it that if you do not plan a strategy well you will end up all over the place. Planning a strategy is equally as important as the strategy itself. I have discovered that it really takes all types to ensure that the world turns and so must your plan or strategy or you will end up with a mish mash of gobbledegook.
For some its a play in the park. For most, its the scariest thing on earth. What's your thoughts?
